The invention relates to a device incorporating a reference electrode. It comprises: - a reference electrode 100 equipped with an insulating electrode body 110 receiving a reference electrolyte 120, with a reference element 130 immersed in the electrolyte and with a reference element support 150 mounted in a sealed manner on the upper part of the body 110 and provided with a passage 150d for replenishment of the electrolyte; - an insulating measurement compartment 200 for the study medium which receives, in a sealed manner, the lower part of the said body 110 and which includes, near this lower part, a passage 220 for purging the study medium; and - an electrolytic junction which includes a column 320 for passage and cooling of the study medium, between the study compartment 400 and the measurement compartment 200, and an opening 110c formed in the lower part of the body and receiving a porous interface diaphragm 310.
