EXTENSION MECHANISM FOR DATA BASE CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase the processing speed and to reduce cost for the mechanism by applying a double precompiling system consisting of an extension DDL precompiler and an extension DML precompiler which are used for conversion into the languages to which a data base control system can have accesses. CONSTITUTION:A double precompiling system includes an extension data defining language DDL precompiler 1b and an extension data manipulating language DML precompiler 2b which are used for conversion into the languages to which a link type data base control system 3 can have accesses. In such a constitution, the preprocessing time can be shortened for a link type data model and furthermore the cost of development is reduced compared with a case where a new data base control system is developed based on an extension model.
