<p>PURPOSE:To make the prevention of ink backflow possible with a simple flow path structure by providing a conductive ink, generating an electric current traversing across an ink flow path, and also a magnetic field in a vertical direction to said electric current and injecting an accelerated ink to a nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 13, 13' are arranged in a mutually opposite position on the inner wall of a case 15 on both sides of an ink flow path 12, and a voltage is applied at the time of printing. A magnetic field generation means 14 is, for instance, composed of a pair of magnets 14A, 14B, and generates a magnetic field which traverses an ink flow path 12 in the opposite and vertical directions of the electrodes 13, 13'. When printing is performed, a voltage is applied between the electrodes 13, 13' under the actuation of the magnetic field generation means 14, and an electric current and magnetic field which traverse the ink flow path 12 crossing each other at right angles. Then a conductive ink 17 is accelerated to a nozzle 16 according to Fleming's left-hand rule and ejected from the nozzle 16. Since the ink is ejected without deformation of a case 15, no bubbles penetrate from the nozzle and no damper need be provided in the ink flow patch, thus enabling simplification of the ink flow path.</p> |
