PURPOSE:To improve straight forwarding traction performance and corner shifting performance, in a tire for a motocross race, by arranging long edge offset blocks and short edge side blocks on the tread in a prescribed manner, so that both edges form nearly the shape of the letter V. CONSTITUTION:Offset blocks 13 are staggeredly arranged in the circumferential direction so that they are projected from the circumferential groove 11 of a tread 12 in the radial direction of a tire, and are offset to the tread center C. And side blocks 15 are formed in the shoulder part 12c of the tread 12 on the side, where the amount of offset in the offset blocks 13 is small, so as to be projected from the groove 11 in the radial direction. And the inclination angle theta of the offset block 13 to the circumferential direction is made to be approximately 60 deg., and long edge 13a and short edge 15a are arranged so as to form the shape of the letter V. By this constitution, the traction performance at the time of straight forward running and the shifting performance at the time of corner running can be improved. |
