Water-soluble metallized disazo compounds which, in the free acid form, are represented by the following formula: <IMAGE> <IMAGE> +TR <IMAGE> wherein R1 and R2 stand independently for chlorine or nitro, and X stands for phenyl which may be substituted with chlorine, methyl, lower alkoxy, hydroxyl or carboxyl, for use in dyeing.
