Process and apparatus for dry toxic gas separation, such as SO3, SO2, HCl, HF and NOx, by means of an alkaline porous support material

In the process described for dry gas purification, a porous support material impregnated with alkaline materials is added over the course of a reaction section to the gas stream and separated off again in a downstream filter device. In this case the sodium hydroxide solution and also the alkaline support material reacts with the acidic gas components. To separate off nitrogen oxides, an oxidant is additionally added to the support material. The added chemicals are mixed with the support material via an intensive mixer and are fed again to the flue gas stream via a mixing nozzle. A small part-stream of solids is taken from the process to which hydraulic binders and water are added in a mixer unit in order to produce, from the support laden with readily soluble salts, a leaching-resistant landfill product or a material for underground lagging work.
