In order to provide a motor-driven wheeled vehicle with drive for water mode, which has good manoeuvring and on-land properties accompanied by a simple and cheap water-mode drive and an overall simple design, it is proposed that the drive elements (2) of the water-mode drive be arranged on the front (3) of the vehicle, the main drive direction for travel in or on water being directed counter to the normal direction of travel on land. <IMAGE>
