<p>PURPOSE:To aim at simplification of construction of the entire facility by providing, at both side positions of the assembling place, a damper unit retaining means for suspension such that it can be turned over from operation to nonoperation mode, and vice versa, in assembling article part of a wheel frame unit placed on a jig pallet. CONSTITUTION:On a jig pallet P being able to be transferred by means of a roller conveyor or the like, an article part X2 of a steering device is placed by means of a receiving member 23 on a platelike base material 25 and engaging pins 24, and then, for a body B suspension-carried with a trolley conveyor or the like, assembling operation is carried out from the downward. At both positions of the assembling place, a support frame 48 integrated with a movable sliding block 47 along a guide frame 45 by means of an air cylinder 49, while on the tip end, a swinging pawl capable of being open/close and nipping with an air cylinder 52, and then during assembling, retaining of a damper unit of suspension is thereby done. It is possible to simplify the construction of the total facility because a retaining means for the damper unit is not provided on the jig pallet.</p> |
