PURPOSE:To suck water and air into an intake pipe in the form of water foams, sufficiently atomize the water, and improve combustion efficiency by connecting each end of a Y-shaped branch pipe to a water tank, the air, and the intake pipe of an engine while providing a flow rate regulating valve on each end. CONSTITUTION:When an engine E is started, the inside of an intake pipe E1 becomes negative pressure. Thereupon, as plural flow rate regulating valves 12a, 12b are opened/closed, water W is sucked from a water tank T into the first end 11a of a Y-shaped branch pipe while sucking intake air from a second end 11b. The mixed water and air flows into a pipe 13c via a third end 11c. In this case, foams Wb are produced inside the pipe 13c while forming border walls Wa by means of water among the adjacent foams Wb. The fine particles of water mixed into the foams Wb, together with a mixture flowing in the intake pipe E1, are sucked as they are into the engine E. On the other hand, the water which forms the border walls Wa is scattered by means of the mixture flowing in the intake pipe E1 and sucked into the engine E. |
