PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain toners and developing agent compsn. contg. a modified electrostatic charge acceleration additive by incorporating an additive consisting of a specific electrostatic charge acceleration component into the toners and the compsn. CONSTITUTION: This compsn. consists of about 10% electrostatic charge acceleration additive adsorbed on about 90% flow acceleration component. This electrostatic charge acceleration additive contains the alkyl, pyridinium, halide expressed by formula I and the org. sulfate compd., sulfonate compd., etc., expressed by formula II. In the formulas I, II, R denotes a hydrocarbon group contg. 8 to 22C; A denotes anion; R1 denotes an alkyl group contg. 12 to 22C; R2 , R3 denote alkyl groups contg. 1 to 5C; R44 denotes an alkylene group contg. 1 to 5C; R5 denotes a tolyl group or alkyl group contg. 1 to 3C; n denotes 3 or 4. As a result, the compsn. having the modified electrostatic charge acceleration additive adsorbed particularly on the surface is obtd. Electrostatic charge to positive or negative by, for example, the carriers to be used is thus made possible. |
