SEALED TYPE ALKALINE BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase battery capacity and improve capacity conservation performance by forming a plate group in such a way as to position a positive plate at the outermost periphery and plating the inner surface of a battery can with a negative pole active material. CONSTITUTION:A positive plate 11 and a negative plate 12 sandwich a separator 13 and are coiled in a voluted shape, thereby forming a plate group. This plate group is so wound that the positive plate 11 is positioned at the outermost periphery, and inserted in a battery can 14 with the inner surface thereof applied with a plated layer of an negative pole active material via an outer separator 15. This separator 15 prevents the outermost positive plate 11 from contacting the inner surface of the battery can 14, and is so inserted as to come in contact with the inner surface of the battery can 14 where the positive plate 11 is located.
