Winding apparatus for cross-wound bobbins

On a winding apparatus for cross-wound bobbins, in which the thread to be wound can be fed through a thread-guide member to the rotating cross-wound bobbin, there is provided a device for increasing the thread-crossing angle during the run-out phase of the cross-wound bobbin in relation to the thread-crossing angle of the cross-wound bobbin last provided for undisturbed winding operation. Faults, especially those caused by falling threads, are thereby avoided in the run-out phase.
