PURPOSE:To obtain the guide data up to one's destination at any point, by allowing an apparatus to store the present point of a vehicle by a present point input means and displaying the guide data of said point. CONSTITUTION:When one's destination is inputted by an input apparatus 1, a route searching mode is obtained and the data for going to the destination is set with respect to all of points other than the destination. When the present point is inputted by the input of a character from the aforementioned input apparatus 1 after the searching for a route is finished, the guide data for going to the destination from the aforementioned present point is displayed on a display apparatus 3 on the basis of the region name list and crossing data stored in a memory apparatus 4. By this method, proper guide data can be obtained at any point without fixing a course. |
