This distortion correction device LEQ for a transmission line is used in the receiver of a baseband modem for data coded in differential two-phase. It automatically corrects the distortions by means of a filter EF, whatever the length of the line. It is integrated monolithically with CMOS technology using the technique of switched capacitance filters. Since the filter driving frequency is derived from the data frequency, it adapts automatically to the said data frequency over a wide frequency range. A correction of the offset voltage OCV can easily be impressed on the device as necessary and when the modem in which it is used transmits previously scrambled coded data. Application: equaliser for baseband modems. <IMAGE>
