SUBSTANCE: process is based on reading of image of object and stars recorded in focal plane of telescope 1 by first scanning aperture in image recording unit 2, on processing of obtained videosignal <EMI ID=0.218 HE=9 WI=6 TI=CHI>, on subsequent isolation of object, on amplitude selection of videosignal in gating unit 3 in voltage interval between two reference levels <EMI ID=0.219 HE=9 WI=9 TI=CHI> and <EMI ID=0.220 HE=9 WI=9 TI=CHI>, on binary quantization in threshold processing unit 4, on digitization of selected videosignal in summing unit 5, on logic summing of N frames of selected videosignal and on isolating of object. Additional amplitude selection of videosignal with upper reference level <EMI ID=0.221 HE=9 WI=9 TI=CHI> is carried out, summary videosignal is converted to luminous flux Φ<SB>h</SB> of summary image in converter 6, spatial frequency filtration of luminous flux in direction <EMI ID=0.222 HE=9 WI=24 TI=CHI> is conducted, filtered luminous flux is read in filtration unit 7, videosignal <EMI ID=0.223 HE=9 WI=6 TI=CHI> is obtained by second scanning aperture in unit of backward conversion. Two-level quantization with threshold V<SB>b</SB> and discretization of obtained videosignal in dialysis unit 9 are performed. Coordinates of readings of non-zero digitized videosignal <EMI ID=0.224 HE=9 WI=6 TI=CHI> are found by line and frame, minimal tau<CHF>c@m</CHF><SB>in</SB>, tau<CHF>k@m</CHF><SB>in</SB> and maximal tau<CHF>c@m</CHF><SB>ax</SB>, tau<CHF>k@m</CHF><SB>ax</SB> values of readings are determined by line and frame correspondingly, values tau<CHF>c@m</CHF><SB>in</SB>, tau<CHF>c@m</CHF><SB>ax</SB>, tau<CHF>k@m</CHF><SB>in</SB>, tau<CHF>k@m</CHF><SB>ax</SB> are analyzed, gating videosignal <EMI ID=0.225 HE=9 WI=6 TI=CHI> is formed by results of analysis, fragments of videosignal V<SB>s</SB> in time interval corresponding to gate V<SB>s</SB> are extracted.
