摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer recording medium capable of forming a two-color recording image on a plain paper having a low smoothness, by laminating a plurality of ink layers containing coloring agents of different colors in a hot-melt ink layer. CONSTITUTION:A hot-melt ink layer containing a low-viscosity oil in a fine porous configuration made of a resin is provided on a substrate. A hot-melt substance in the hot-melt ink layer which is solid at ordinary temperature melts under heat, oozes out from the network of the resin fine porous configuration together with a coloring agent and the oil, and bleeds by degrees on an accepting sheet. At this time, with the use of a thermal transfer recording medium in which a plurality of layers, i.e. first and second thermal transfer ink layers 1, 2, are laminated to incorporate coloring agents of different colors therein, the transfer state of the bleeding coloring agent changes according to the amount of an applied thermal energy. Thus, because the coloring agent of the first thermal transfer ink layer is transferred under a low thermal energy and both the coloring agents are transferred in the mixed state under a high thermal energy, a two-color recording image is made available by controlling the applied thermal energy.
