In order, in the case of semitrailer tractors with the required large gap between the driver's cab and semitrailer, to improve the guidance of air it is known to use swivelling side panels or driver's-cab end-edge spoilers. The side panels are provided with a swivelling capability in order to provide access to the connections between the tractor and semitrailer. A further development of an abovementioned side panel (1) is proposed in which the rear region is designed as a useful space (5) for diverse vehicle objects such as water tank, refrigerator, tool or the like. <IMAGE>
