PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide electric power to be supplied to electric lamps and electrical appliances to be used in a public lodging house, a working place, a campsite, etc., set in the mountains and in a remote corner of the country by submerging a stream power generating device in a place water flowing such as streams. SOLUTION: Power is generated by providing a rotating vane shaft 3 furnished with a plural number of vanes 9 inside a cylinder body 2 free to rotate, fixedly providing a generator 4, connecting one end of the moving vane shaft 3 to a rotor 27 of the generator 4, rotating the moving vane shaft 3 by a stream flowing into the inside of the cylinder body 2 from the side of the moving vane shaft 3 and rotating the rotor 27 interlocked with this rotation.
