<p>PURPOSE:To obtain smooth clutch control by obtaining clutch load characteristics from the motor load current in a clutch actuator and adopting the inflection point in the characteristic curve as the reference point for clutch control. CONSTITUTION:In a normal operation, an electronic controller 31 impresses the clutch position or the driving pulse having the duty corresponding to the load, which is detected by the signal from a decoder 29, to a motor 28. In order to control a clutch 13 by using an electric clutch actuator 14, the controller 31 measures the load current in the motor 28 and learns the clutch characteristics relating to the load current at each clutch position. When the decoder 29 is out of order, the controller 31 adopts the inflection point in the load characteristic curve, which the controller 31 learned in advance, as the reference point for clutch control and impresses the driving pulse having the duty corresponding to the load to the motor 28 in order to control the clutch position. With this contrivance, the completely coupled clutch position, half- coupled clutch position, and clutch operating speed can properly be controlled.</p> |
