In a sliding-bearing arrangement with a radial sliding bearing 12a and an axial (thrust) sliding bearing 12b, the axial sliding bearing 12b too is supplied with fresh cooled lubricant, it being possible for this lubricant to be mixed with the hot lubricant emerging at the end of the radial sliding bearing 12a. For this purpose, the axial sliding bearing 12b is equipped with at least one lubricant hole 18 which opens into at least one lubricant groove formed in the sliding surface 16 of the axial sliding bearing and extending over the entire width of the axial sliding bearing and is connected to a lubricant passage 20 in the bearing block 11 to allow the cooled fresh lubricant to be fed in. The lubricant passage 20 leading to the axial sliding bearing 12b can be branched off from the lubricant passage 14 leading to the radial sliding bearing 12a in the interior of the bearing block and can contain a flow restrictor 21 to establish as desired lubricant distribution ratio between the radial sliding bearing 12a and the axial sliding bearing 12b. <IMAGE>
