PURPOSE:To use cut-off portions at both edges, which are developed at the manufacture of a multi-layer film, for self-recycling without difficulty by a method wherein the portions which are grasped during lateral stretching are made of single layer. CONSTITUTION:Fine particle-containing resin A and carbon black-containing resin B are melted respectively and the resin A is extruded through feed pipes 1 and 1'' from discharge ports 7 and 7' and the resin B is extruded through a feed pipe 1' from a discharge port 9 so as to be compounded into a two kind-three layered sheet and at the same time the resin A is extruded through a feed pipe 2 from discharge ports 8 and 8' onto the surface of a cooling drum 6 so as to obtain an unstretched sheet having single layer parts 4 and 4' at both ends of a multi-layer part 5. The unstretched sheet is cooled at the surface of the cooling drum 6. Next, the unstreched sheet is stretched longitudinally and, after that, stretched laterally by grasping the single layer parts 4 and 4' and heat-treated. Further, after both the edge parts of the stretched sheet are cut off and removed, the sheet is taken up continuously. The cut-off and removed portions at both the edge of the sheet are made into chips for regeneration and mixed with the resin A, resulting in being made filmy again without developing trouble at all. |
