PURPOSE:To improve the productivity and yield of an electrophotographic organic sensitive body without generating foams in an org. photosensitive layer by using an electroconductive base material consisting of Al having >=99.5% Al content or an Al alloy worked to form alumite. CONSTITUTION:An electroconductive base material consisting of Al having >=99.5% Al content or an Al alloy worked to form alumite is used in a stage of producing a photosensitive body by forming an org. photosensitive layer on an electroconductive base material consisting of Al or an Al alloy worked to form alumite coating. By this constitution, a photosensitive body having a uniform photosensitive layer contg. no foams and being capable of forming a high quality picture image contg. no pinhole is produced in large amt. and in high yield without requiring setting of the atmosphere to <=75% relative humidity nor carrying out degassing under reduced pressure. |
