PURPOSE:To obtain a small-size and high-reliability ink jet recording head, by disposing an oscillating surface of a laminated oscillator opposed to a nozzle inlet open part and preventing the contact of a recording liquid with the oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A recording head is composed of a laminated oscillator 1, oscillator holder 2, nozzle plate 3, RTV rubber 4, nozzle 5, oscillating unit surface 6 opposed to the nozzle, and electrodes 7, 7'. The laminated oscillator 1 is disposed so that one end is sealed to the oscillator holder 2 and the opposite surface is opposed to the nozzle 5. Since the oscillating surface is directly opposed to the nozzle, a recording liquid is discharged out of the nozzle in a good efficiency. The use of a laminated type for the oscillator enables a small size head. Furthermore, the RTV rubber 4 is loaded to a gap between a deformation-free ceramic 1b of the laminated oscillator 1 on the nozzle side and the oscillator holder 2 to prevent the recording liquid from coming into contact with the laminated oscillator; this construction prevents the leak due to the recording liquid. |
