#CMT# #/CMT# The tool has a connection unit (2) fixing a detachable handle (5) in orientation along a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of a cylindrical crosspiece (1). Stop units (3, 4) are disposed at respective ends (1a, 1b) of the crosspiece. The units (3, 4) extend radially spaced from the longitudinal direction to the opposite of the unit (2) along a length of the cross piece. The length of the cross piece is greater than the width of a strip to be installed. The units (3, 4) have a width of 2 to 5 centimeters. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used by a workman for installing strips e.g. linen strip and wallpaper strip, on a ceiling (claimed) of a room for covering the ceiling, where the strips are provided in the form of a roller having a width of 1 meter and a length separating two opposite walls of the room, and the strips are successively bonded parallel to each other. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The tool is simple, lightweight and inexpensive and permits to install the strips at the proximity of the ceiling, thus permitting the single workman to perform the installation of the strips on the ceiling without excessive efforts and hence economizing the manpower in a better manner. The tool can be fixed remote by the workman and permits to laterally guide the strips, thus permitting to realize high quality joints between the successive strips without any assistance. The handle is detachable, thus permitting a compact storage of the tool and hence a reduced encumbrance of the tool is obtained during the storage and the transport of the tool. The tool ensures the gripping of the strip along its width without any irregularity, thus preventing the damage of the strip and avoiding the restrain of the strip. The crinkling and tearing of the strip is therefore avoided so as to eliminate any harm to the aesthetics of the ceiling.
