PURPOSE:To aim at making an engine accessory drive device compact by providing intermediated shafts for transmitting power from an engine to a transmission through a twist damper, in parallel with each other, and by arranging engine accessories in the extension of the intermediate shafts. CONSTITUTION:A power is transmitted to an intermediate shaft 15 through a sprocket 14 on the intermediate shaft 15 and a sprocket 12 fitted on a substantially center part of the crank shaft 11 of an engine 1 which is disposed between the engine 1 and a transmission in parallel with the intermediate shaft 15, by a chain 13. The rotation of the intermediate shaft 15 is made to be smooth by a twist damper 21, and is transmitted to an input shaft 19 of the transmission 3 and to an oil pump 6 at the other end of the intermediate shaft 15. Accessories such as a power steering pump 7, an air compressor 9 and the like are coupled coaxially to a drive shaft 28 for the oil pump 6 which is spline-coupled in the extension of the intermediate shaft 15. Accordingly, it is possible to aim at making the device itself compact. |
