PURPOSE:To reduce vibration and noise in the shaft in the caption according to a process wherein a damping layer is provided on the outer peripheral surface of a strength layer on the inner layer side of fiber reinforced synthetic resin pipe and a constraint layer is laminated on the outer periphery thereof and then respective layers are integrated in one structure by adhesive bonding. CONSTITUTION:A metal sleeve pipe 4 is attached to one or both ends inner surfaces of a strength layer 2 formed cylindrically via adhesive agent 3 and the damping layer 5 made of damping polymer material is laminated on the outer surface of the strength layer 2, and then a constraint layer 6 made of fiber reinforced synthetic resin giving rigidity to this outer surface is wound around this outer surface. Furthermore, the three layers consisting of the strength layer 2, damping layer 5 and constraint layer 6 are composed in a integral shape. Consequently, the driving shaft can be used safely by reducing effectively the vibrating energy from a driving side, giving a torsional strength to the inner layer and further decreasing vibration and noise. |
