For the production of an injection moulded article, it is proposed to injection mould the latter layer by layer and, after each injection moulding of a new layer, partly to cure the layer already formed before the introduction of the next layer into the mould cavity. By this means, the aim is to achieve shorter overall cooling times and, if appropriate, to obtain an improved fibre orientation.
