PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of providing easy-to-understand guidance of an exiting road even when another road is connected to an intersection in the direction nearly equal to the direction of the exiting road.SOLUTION: A route guidance system of the present invention comprises: road acquisition means acquiring a road to an intersection on a planned travel route on which a vehicle travels when approaching the intersection, an exiting road on the planned travel route to exit the intersection, and a non-exiting road which can exit the intersection but is not present on the planned travel route; and guidance means for guiding a relative position of the exiting road to the non-exiting road when the exiting road and the non-exiting road constitute a pair of parallel roads.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
