PURPOSE:To greatly improve durability and to adopt positive electrifying system by incorporating an isocyanate compound in a resin used for an electric charge generating layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge transfer layer 2 formed by applying a liquid allowing an organic charge transfer material to be dispersed in a binder resin and the charge generating layer 3 formed by applying a liquid allowing an organic charge generating material to be dispersed in a binder resin are laminated in this order on a conductive substrate 1. In order to form the charge generating layer 3, thus permitting the obtained charge generating layer 3 to be stabilized mechanically and chemically, improved in electrical stability, enhanced in wear resistance, and used in the positive electrifying system. |
