PURPOSE:To prevent retaining of a large quantity of paper debris between an image carrier and a cleaning member by making changeable of the installing position of a process cartridge including the image carrier and a cleansing device to a main body of an image forming device in an image carrier axis direction. CONSTITUTION:The process cartridge 1 containing the image carrier 2 and its cleaning device is constituted removably to the main body of the image forming device. A positioning member 12 is fitted to a cartridge side surface 1a attachably/detachably. In response to the increase of image forming frequency, projecting height (h) from the cartridge side surface, namely the positioning member of different length in the image carrier axis direction can be changed selectively. Thus in response to a change of the installing position of the process cartridge 1, the positions on the image carrier 2 and the cleaning member move in the image carrier axis direction and local retraining of a large quantity of the paper debris can be prevented. |
