The purpose of the present invention is to provide an inkjet recording device wherein attaching/removing operations of an ink cartridge can be easily and reliably performed without having the ink cartridge in a complicated shape. This ink jet recording device is provided with: a first holding section, which holds an ink cartridge, and is capable of moving to a first position where the ink cartridge can be attached thereto and removed therefrom, and to a second position where an ink can be supplied from the ink cartridge to an ink flow channel that is provided to a device main body; and a first pressing means that presses the first holding section in the first direction from the second position toward the first position. The inkjet recording device is also provided with: a regulating section that regulates moving of the first holding section in the first direction at the second position; and a second holding section, which moves with the moving of the first holding section, and holds, at the second position, the ink cartridge by sandwiching the ink cartridge with the first holding section. |
