PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of channel selection and to realize miniaturization for a push-button type tuner, by connecting an actuating plate and a variable tuning element via a link bar and at the same time setting the moving stroke of the actuating plate larger than the variable stroke of the variable tuning element. CONSTITUTION:A push-button 10 is pulled forward from a position (c) where the button 10 of a control shaft 1 is pressed to the front side. Then the shaft 1 moves to the front side as shown by the position (d), and therefore a primary gear 9 engages a follower gear 10. The button 10 is rotated under such conditions, and a channel selection frame 23 moves back and forth to move an actuating plate 39 back and forth. As a result, a variable tuning element 47 connected via a link bar 44 is varied to select a desired channel. In addition, the moving stroke of the frame 23, i.e., the moving stroke of the plate 39 is set larger than the varying stroke of the element 47. This device ensures high accuracy of channel selection and at the same time reduces the force of collision between the frame 23 and the plate 39. Thus a push-button type tuner can be miniaturized. |
