PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel that is simply configured to cause a shake correction lens to be smoothly retreated in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis, and to provide a shake correction lens retreating method of the lens barrel.SOLUTION: Turning off of a main switch causes a slider holding member movement mechanism to move a slider holding member from a first position where a shooting state is ready in an optical axis direction to a second position where an accommodation state is ready. In a state where the slider holding member moves to the second position, a VCM is made operative to cause an engagement of a movement regulation hole with a movement regulation pin to move a slider to a movement limit. An engagement part of a shake correction lens holding member can be abutted on a fixed position of a retreat operation member, and the shake correction lens holding member can be smoothly moved from an optical axis entering position to a retreat position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
