<p>A release mechanism (1) for protective switches has a temperature-sensitive release element (4) in the form of a wire, one end of which is fastened to a spring-loaded pivoting release lever (3), the other end being immovably fastened. The temperature-induced lateral movement at one end of release element (4) unlocks the protective switch. A locking element (11) at the free end of the release lever (3) engages with a catch (10) on a spring-loaded contact lever (2) in such a way that the protective switch is switched off when the release element (4) contacts as well as when it expands.</p> |
