PURPOSE: To provide a stable and high intensity light output for a long period by providing two or more coupling slots, and supplying a microwave into the same microwave cavity from plural magnetrons. CONSTITUTION: One pair of coupling slots 10a, 10a formed in a cylindrical side wall 10 are arranged so as to define an angleθ0 , and the angleθ0 is set to be 90 deg. or in the vicinity thereof. In this constitution, two microwaves introduced into the same microwave cavity 8 via one pair of coupling slots 10a, 10a are separated, and mutual interference is prevented. Accordingly, by using two magnetrons 15l and 15r a stable and increased power can be obtained in the microwave cavity 8. Thereby, the high intensity light power can be easily obtained. |
