The invention describes an arrangement of indwelling vein cannulas with insertion needles and of catheters with insertion needles. A part-member of the body of the indwelling vein cannula and of a catheter is designed to be so flexible that an external pressure exerted thereupon is sufficient to abolish patency for puncture fluids in the interior even when an insertion needle is pulled out of the part-member.
