PURPOSE: To prevent a cash accident in a money reception transaction by deciding a number discrepancy with a serial number of paper money(PM) by a comparing means each time the discrimination of one PM ends, and discriminating the number-discrepant PM and following PMs which are already separated as PMs which can not be received. CONSTITUTION: A PM decided to travel normally is expected to be discriminated and then a discrimination part 11 discriminates whether the PM is genuine or not, whether it is damaged or not, the money kind, whether the PM faces up or down; and a data serial number transmission part 15 assign a serial number to the discrimination data of this PM and sends it to a comparison part 16, which compares and matches the serial number for serial numbers stored in a PM serial number storage 14. Then when the comparison part 15 decides that the PM serial number is discrepant, the number-discrepant PM and following PMs which are already separated are discriminated as PMs which can not be received. Consequently, a cash accident in a money reception transaction is eliminated and operation efficiency can be improved. |
