NEW MATERIAL:A phthalocyanine analog expressed by formula I (R1-R4 are H or nitro, halogen or phenyl substituting at one or more numbers on each benzene ring, or condensed benzene ring; M is metal, metal oxide or metal halide) in which at least one or R1-R4 has molecular structure different from other. EXAMPLE:A compound expressed by formula II. USE:An optical recording medium such as optical disc, dye, catalyst, etc., having remarkably enhanced solubility to an organic solvent as well as characteristic introducing a group or condensed ring different from other into at least either one of benzene rings of phthalocyanine metal complex. PREPARATION:Two or more compounds selected from phthalic anhydride or phthalic anhydride substituted by nitro, halogen or phenyl or naphthalene-2,3- dicarboxylic acid anhydride are reacted with ammonium molybdate and urea to provide the compound expressed by formula I. |
