METHOD OF CREATING CURVED SURFACES

This invention relates to a method for producing three-dimesional curved surface. This method is useful for machining die and mould in numerically controlled machine tools. A section curve of a three- dimensional body and partitioning informations are input. The section curve is partitioned according to the partitioning informations, and plural section curves containing each of partitioning points are obtained successively. The plural consecutive section curves form a required curved surface. In a machining process a cutting tool moves along the section curves in order.
