PURPOSE:To remove burrs existing on various parts of a workpiece by full automatic means by providing a chucking mechanism for chucking said workpiece and a grinding mechanism having a grinding stone in each station. CONSTITUTION:Duburring equipment that removes burrs existing on various parts of castings, e.g., the piston of a compressor, has a supplying unit 11 which supplies workpieces 3. In a conveying system 15 which intermittently conveys said workpieces 3 are profvided during its course of conveying, the first, the second, and the third stations 22, 23, and 24, in each of which are provided chucking mechanism 48 and 61 which chuck a workpiece, and a grinding mechanism having grinding stones 41, 52, and 64. Therefore, the burrs existing on the outer peripheral surface and both end surfaces of the cylinder of the workpiece 3 and the burrs on the end surface of a circular cylinder 2 can be fully automatically removed, improving the efficiency of deburring operation. |
