A disinfectant compsn., esp. for disinfecting surfaces, contains Cu salicylate (I) and isopropanol (II), esp. in a ratio of 500 mg (I) per 100 ml (II). USE/ADVANTAGE - The disinfectant can be used in conc. form or after dilution with water for medicinal, technical and hygenic disinfection purposes e.g. for surfaces, articles, human beings and animals, such as disinfecting toilet seats, instruments, working surfaces and wiping cloths.
