This device enables at least one cable to be immobilised in a defined position even if the two ends of this cable are disconnected. It comprises a cross-piece 1 consisting of a strip 2 of rectangular cross-section, the upper face 3 of which is provided with a longitudinal central boss 4 and with two side flanges 7. These flanges have notches with flared edges emerging onto a flat bottom extended by a circular housing receiving the cable 17.
