PURPOSE:To suppress the longitudinal decrease in resolution with a comparatively simple constitution while using a definite processing system, by synchronizing definitely elements between lines at a part of an orthogonal transformation element train. CONSTITUTION:An analog composite picture signal incoming to an input terminal 1 is applied respectively to a real time orthogonal transformation device 2 and a synchronizing signal separating circuit 3. The conveter 2 A/D-convets only the picture signal part into a discrete digital signal series where the picture element data are synthesized in time series. Eight orthogonal transformation elements are obtained through the orthogonal transformation with the orthogonal transformation matrix taking eight picture element data obtained sequentially as the unit. Further, non-replacement orthogonal transformation element and replacement orthogonal transformation element extracted in time series from a scanner 5 are applied to a mixer, where the elements are mixed with a composite synchronizing signal matched for time at a synchronizing signal generator 6 and the result is outputted to a narrow band transmission line via an output terminal 8. |
