PURPOSE: To obtain an inhomogeneous chewing gum compsn., which consists of a hard gum base, soft gum base, flavor and sweetener, showing a mable pattern and having a ong holding time of the flavor. CONSTITUTION: This inhomogeneous chewing gum compsn. is preferably obtd. by mixing a filler and additives such as a flavor and sweetener to a heated and molten hard gum base to prepare a homogeneous mixture, and then adding a heated and molten soft gum base to the mixture to obtain an inhomogeneous mixture, and if necessary, mixing additives such as a flavor and sweetener.
