PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of a flash light device by actuating a trigger circuit with the shift of a 1st switching means to a 2nd state and actuating a commutation circuit with the detected output. CONSTITUTION:By setting the terminal (h) of a control circuit 7 in a low level and shifting a line C1 from a high level state obtained after turning on a power source to a low level, the trigger circuit A is actuated to start the emission of flash light. Next, whether or not the integral value of the reflected light from an object becomes a specified value is judged by monitoring the output of a photometry circuit 9 in the terminal (f) of the control circuit 7. Now, the photometry circuit is reset and executes photometry and integration for the reflected light from the object by the flash light from an initial state. And if the integral value of light quantity reaches a specified level, the terminal (h) of the circuit 7 is set in a high level and the line C1 is raised in the high level so as to transmit a light emission stopping signal to the commutation circuit B through a line B1 to stop the emission of the light. And a shutter closing signal is transmitted from the terminal (g) of the circuit 7 so as to close a shutter 10 and photographing actions are completed. Thus, the malfunction is prevented. |
