<p>PURPOSE: To open a can easily and safely by fitting a coupler to the top end seam and the bottom end seam of a can, pressing a can opener handler with a piercer against the body of the can to punch a hole in the can body, and retaining the can opener with a clamp to maintain the opener in a can-opening condition. CONSTITUTION: Top and bottom retainers 11, 13 of a coupler 3 of a can opener 1 are fitted for integration respectively to top and bottom end seams 10, 11 of the can 2. Cans treated to such condition are placed on the ground of an agricultural location and covered with a cover sheet. The outside face of a can opener 4 is pressed against a can body 16 to punch a hole with a piercer 7. One end of the can opener 4 is engaged with a clamp 5 of coupler 3. A high- pressure gas in the can 2 spouts outside from an opening 19, whereby it diffuses and penetrates from the ground surface into the underground. Also, the can 1 provided with a packing plate 8 and a time membrane 9 can be opened outside the cover sheet. After lapsing the time, the time membrane 9 is dissolved by the agricultural gas, whereby the agricultural gas spouts outside from the opening 19.</p> |
