PURPOSE: To perform multipurpose operation and monitoring using only two control lines by connecting an operating section and a monitor section with an electronic controller through two control lines. CONSTITUTION: A power tool 10 comprises an operating section 15, and an asynchronous apparatus, i.e., a three-phase motor 16. A power supply unit 13 comprises an electronic controller 17 and an electronic power pack 18. A connecting cord 11 comprises control wires 19, 20 and three power wires 21, 22 and 23 for feeding a current to the three-phase motor 16 from the electronic power pack 18. Action at the operating section 15 is transmitted through two control wires 19, 20 to the power supply unit 13 and the frequency and voltage of the power being fed to the power tool 10 through the power wires 21, 22 and 23 are altered. |
