PURPOSE:To elevate the insulation ability of an insulation cover and reduce AC loss in a superconductor by forming a Cr oxidized film layer of 1-5mum on the surface of a superconductive element wire as an insulation film, in a superconductor of compulsive cooling type or soaked cooling type. CONSTITUTION:In a superconductor 1, a Cr insulation film 3 of 1-5mum in thickness is formed at the periphery of a superconductive wire 2. And this Nb3Sn superconductive element wires 2 are twisted by 3X3X3X4=108 lines and pressing-roll by a stainless tape 4 is applied to the periphery and its further periphery is applied with longitudinal support by a stainless tape and covered with a rectangular stainless pipe 5 by welding. This superconductor 1 is extended so that the void rate may be 32.3% and made into 8.82mm in outside diameter and 7.70mm in inside diameter, and even if heat treatment at 700 deg.C is applied for 2 hours, the insulation ability of an insulation cover is elevated and the AC loss of the superconductor can be reduced. |
