PURPOSE:To reduce the number of operation designating signal lines to perform the read or write operation continuously in a high speed, by providing a storage means which stores write information and outputs read information, a control means which outputs a set signal and the first control signal and a control information holding means which outputs the second control signal. CONSTITUTION:When a start signal 11 and the third control signal 12 set to the first state are given to a storage device from the external in the first operation, a set signal 16 is given as a read designating signal or a write byte designating signal to a control register 3 from a control circuit 2. This signal is outputted as the third control signal 18 from the register 3. When the start signal 11 and the third control signal 12 set to the second state are given from the external in the second operation, the first control signal 17 is generated from the control circuit 2. If the second control signal designates a write byte, this signal is given as write byte information to a storage circuit 1 together with address information 13. |
