Date Jan. 26, 1989.A detachable coupling for connecting an implement, e.g. bucket, to an excavator. The coupling has two parallel link arms that are pinned to the operating arms of the excavator. A locking unit held between these arms has a slidable tension pin that engages a wedge support affixed to the implement. Two pins at either end of the locking device fit loosely into apertures in the link arms. When the tension spring is wedged against the wedge support, the pins are pressed against a surface of the aperture in the link arms to form a rigid coupling between the implement and excavator. |
